Children's Day

Today we celebrate Children's Day in Brazil that coincides with Our Lady of Aparecida's Day, the country's Patron Saint, which is a national holiday. This year my mom decided to give me (because I'm still a child, ok? At least to her...) some cartoon/animation DVDs from my childhood that I've been wanting to get, but haven't (I'm so happy! =D)... They are:

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)

Now I'm just a bit uncomfortable because I haven't been able to find several other Disney cartoons that were important to me, such as Cinderella, Lady and the Tramp, Fantasia (neither the original nor Fantasia 2000), The Little Mermaid, Bambi, Sleeping Beauty, Peter Pan, The Lion King, 101 Dalmatians (one of my favorites for sure!), etc. I don't know what I'm gonna do!!! :(

To take advantage of this post, just mentioning two other DVDs I got from my boyfriend: Chicago (2002 - IMDb: 7.2 /  i♥movies: 6.8) and The Little Prince (1974 - IMDb: 6.0).

which I got together with Desperate Housewives Season 3, which as I have already mentioned here and here, I only had until season 2, but since I am almost over with season 2 and I needed to go on, I had to get season 3!!

A couple of days ago arrived Simpsons Season 9 and 10 (going backwards, trying to get them all, already have season 8 and got season 11 and 11 the other day)

Dead Like Me and Simpsons

Today arrived the 1st and 2nd season of Dead Like Me (I have watched just the pilot episode, it was a recommendation, but I got interested and it was really cheap... XD) and the 11th season of Simpsons (the 12th is on its way)... Unfortunatelly I don't own all Simpsons seasons... I already had the 8th, the 1st-7th and the 9th and 10th I have it recorded, but not the boxes... Shame, but I will be getting them little by little, but the 11th and 12th I didn't have either way, so... :)

Dead Like Me (1st and 2nd Season)

Meet Georgia Lass (who prefers to be called George). She is a young Seattle college dropout who is unhappy with life. She is always at odds with her mom, Joy. One day coming back from her temp job as a filing clerk, she is hit by the toliet seat of the re-entering Space Station Mir. Finding out she is now dead, she is recruited to become a grim reaper. As in life, she is a pain in the butt in death. She does not like the details of her job, and is always at loggerheads with her boss Rube. Her fellow grim reapers don't really take much of a liking to her either.
